Dr. Martin Luther King 的知名演講 "I have a dream" 是所有美國小朋友必讀的演講之一，就像我們小時一定朗朗上口的是朱自清的"背影"，該演講稿 I have a dream 早已被各教育網站列為重要參考，而現在我們只要透過YouTube 就可以輕易的一睹金恩博士當時於1963演講時的盛況與風采!
演講中最令我動容的是一段引用自聖經以賽雅書的內容: "I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; "and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together." 是的，在神的無限大能之前，不但所有的河谷都要升起，山岳要被夷平，顛跛難行的路要平坦，蜿蜒的行道要變直。因為神愛世人，不在乎你是白人、黑人，所有人都生而平等，這是民主共和的基石，也是人權的表彰，Thank God Almighty!
